Things To Do To Keep Yourself Entertained and Learning

What’s better than binging a good show or series? A good show or series that’s also informative! I’ve found myself getting bored of just watching comedies or dramas and wanting to learn more from what I’m doing, so I wanted to share some of my favorite informative series and blogs/vlogs! Just because we’re no longer meeting new people all the time and staying inside, it doesn’t mean that we don’t have to keep learning!

I’ve found some really great informative documentary series on Netflix. My personal favorite is Game Changers. It’s all about food exploration and the different journeys of various people and athletes trying to get their bodies to be at their best. The Netflix series Explained is also super interesting. The episodes are generally quite short and they cover topics that aren’t generally in the news headlines like monogamy, diamonds, tattoos and more! They recently released a new limited series titled Coronavirus Explained.

I’ve also found some blogs and people to follow that keep me ambitious and inspired. I’ve tried finding people who are successful and enjoy sharing their roads to success. WIB has been one of things that has been keeping me motivated by attending their Zoom calls, like the Self Carentine and some of their info sessions. Home from college is a new blog that I’ve just started following recently. They feature informational videos from successful leaders in various industries like media, business, technology, finance and fashion with Q & As on Fridays. A friend introduced this platform and it has been something to look forward to during quarantine, and it keeps me from missing out on opportunities I might’ve had while at school or an internship. Some of my personal favorite Youtube channels to follow are Peter McKinnon, Sorelle Amore, and bestdressed that keep me inspired and creative (because I like travel, photography, and fashion, so if you like that too you should check them out!).
